story - In 2020, boxing is no longer participated by humans. Instead, robots will fight in the ring. A former boxer Charlie Kenton tries to find a good robot after he finds out his wife died and he had lost twice. When he decided to look for parts in the junkyard, his 11 year old son, Max Kenton finds a dumped robot Atom and says he could be a good candidate however Charlie did not agree with him. But Max decided that Atom could so he restored him and he had won many rounds to WRB (World Robot Boxing). I was half way through this but i had to turn this movie off when the boy starts dancing with the robot. That says it all doesn't it really, i should of known better when i saw the name spielberg (produced it) as all his stuff is the same sappy formula over and over, but i wanted to give it a chance. Afterall its fighting robots, It should be good right. Well no its not the characters are stupid, especially the little boy. he speaks Japanese he programmes robots he dances with aforementioned robots and he can negotiates fight prices. Like cumon. br> Even just small annoyances like are we really meant to off taken such a technological jump in such a short period of time. Everything about this film is predictable and terrible, please don't buy it, Hollywood and especially Spielberg need to be thought a lesson.

The most awful thing I've ever seen. Absolutely atrocious. This kind of film should be banned. It's definitely not meant for adults and it will make your kids lose any intellect they have if they watch it to the end.
I had such an extreme emotion about this film, that I had a tear coming out of my eye during watching. And the emotion was extremely negative.
the score is 1/10
This film reminds of "Idiocracy" but this time "idiots" are for real.
I cannot recommend this film to anyone, even if you a person that can potentially enjoy it. Trust me - It will make you no good.
